DON’T TRY — KANADSKÝ HARDCORE Z QUEBEC CITY MÍŘÍ NA KOPEC!

Kanadská hardcore scéna má na Kopci své pevné místo už řadu let.

Letos nás uchvátila show Get the Shot — nyní na ni navážou jejich krajané z Quebec City, DON’T TRY.

DON’T TRY staví svůj zvuk na průsečíku garážového hardcore/punku. Syrové kytarové textury, nakažlivé riffy a groovující rytmika se tu potkávají s mosh pasážemi i výraznými, společně zpívanými refrény. Výsledkem je přímočarý, energický sound, který naplno vyniká především naživo.

Kapelu tvoří Louis Ladouceur (kytara), Maxime Maltais (zpěv), Alexandre D-Drouin (bicí), Antoine McNulty (kytara) a Olivier Roy (basa, zpěv), který je zároveň členem Get the Shot. DON’T TRY si od svého vzniku budují jméno nekompromisními koncerty v klubech po celé východní Kanadě i na evropských pódiích.

DON’T TRY přivezou na Kopec současný kanadský hardcore v jeho syrové, pravdivé a strhující podobě.

The Canadian hardcore scene has had a firm place on the Hill for many years.

This year, Get the Shot blew us away with their show — now their fellow Quebec City natives, DON’T TRY, will carry the torch.

DON’T TRY build their sound at the intersection of garage hardcore and punk. Raw guitar textures, infectious riffs and grooving rhythms collide with mosh parts and powerful, sing-along choruses. The result is a direct, energetic sound that truly comes alive on stage.

The band consists of Louis Ladouceur (guitar), Maxime Maltais (vocals), Alexandre D-Drouin (drums), Antoine McNulty (guitar) and Olivier Roy (bass, vocals), who is also a member of Get the Shot. Since their formation, DON’T TRY have been building their name through uncompromising shows in clubs across Eastern Canada and on European stages.

DON’T TRY will bring contemporary Canadian hardcore to the Hill in its raw, honest and intense form.
