Downset are coming to FAJTFEST 2027!

We're building on this year's street vibe from Thursday. DOWNSET are coming to FAJTFEST 2027! Hardcore rap from the streets—but with clear artistic direction and purpose.

DOWNSET build their identity on combining an aggressive musical language (hardcore with a punk-metal backbone) with a vocal performance that works as a direct tool of communication. Their roots come from straight edge thinking and their earlier identity under the name SOCIAL JUSTICE—representing a long-standing resistance to social inequality, not a one-off trend. In the context of their era, what's crucial is that DOWNSET work with the “language of the streets“: graffiti and urban experience aren't just aesthetics for them, but a way of structuring meaning—from the message itself to the rhythmic construction of their songs.

After decades of evolution and lineup changes, they return with an authority earned not through marketing, but through consistency: a heavy sound, direct lyrics, pressure in the choruses and live energy that doesn't allow the audience to remain mere spectators—but turns them into part of the statement.

FAJTFEST 2027: DOWNSET — a hardcore show with a clear message. Another cult classic coming to the Hill. Let's start together with: Anger. Hostility towards the opposition...

If you were on the hill this Thursday, you know. If you weren't, don't miss this one next year.
